Scope of Work

On-Site Resource (OSR) has an extensive background in workplace assessment, employee training, curriculum development, ESL/ESOL instruction, adult basic education, GED preparation, business writing, and grant writing. In addition, OSR presents strategy workshops for educators and workplace training seminars for peer trainers, company supervisors, and in-house training coordinators.

Academic Assessments
OSR is diversified in its approach to assessment and administers diagnostic tools according to the needs and circumstances of the individual(s).

Vocational Assessments
OSR analyzes skills for realistic employment or potential career advancement.

Workplace Assessment
OSR incorporates management input, employee assessment, workplace literature, job procedures and terminology, and extensive on-site observations. OSR creates training programs that increase production and eliminate errors.

Customized Curriculum
OSR develops workplace programs to remedy problems in the manufacturing and service industries. The diversity of workforce issues and personnel requires the application of innovative instructional methods and materials to achieve job-specific goals.

Leadership Training
OSR develops problem solving strategies, realistic teamwork, efficient time management, and job comprehension skills. Each of these factors is assessed, presented, and evaluated.

Business Writing
OSR presents effective writing strategies. Language mechanics are reviewed within the context of business related communication. Emphasis is placed on identifying the topic, detailing facts, and clarifying a plan of action. Memos, emails, reports, agendas, and performance evaluations are written in accordance with specific company expectations.

Literacy Education/GED Preparation Classes
OSR provides quality instruction in ESL/ESOL programs, adult basic education, civic education, math, problem solving, and GED preparation classes in order to promote employee advancement.

Workshops and Seminars
OSR presents teaching strategy workshops for educators and workplace seminars for company supervisors, in-house training coordinators, and peer trainers.

Grant Writing
OSR utilizes a format to facilitate funding.
